The Hanna Havoc put on a show for their home crowd at the Hanna Agri-Sports Complex on Sunday night, outshooting the Bassano Beavers 40-25 to secure a resounding 5-1 victory.
The Havoc’s offensive pressure was relentless, keeping the Beavers’ goalie, Jovin Manhas, on his toes throughout the game. Despite Manhas’ best efforts, making 23 saves on 40 shots, the Havoc managed to find the back of the net five times.
On the other end of the ice, Havoc’s goalie, Kaleb Miller, put up a stellar performance, turning away 24 of the 25 shots he faced. The only goal for the Beavers came courtesy of Hayden Wiscombe, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback against the determined Havoc team.
While both teams struggled on the powerplay, with the Beavers going 0/6 and the Havoc 0/7, the night belonged to Havoc’s Carter Andrews. Andrews was instrumental in setting up his teammates, notching three assists in the game.
The Havoc will look to continue their winning ways when they host the Beavers again next Saturday, October 24, at 8:00 pm at the Hanna Agri-Sports Complex. Fans can expect another exciting match-up as the Havoc aim to maintain their dominant form.
