Who We Are
Built in Hanna.
Bound for More.

The Hanna Havoc are a junior hockey club competing in the USPHL Premier’s Alberta Division. Founded in 2025 as one of the division’s six founding franchises, the Havoc bring small-town, blue-collar energy to the largest junior hockey organization in North America.

Our mission is developing complete players and complete people. Players aged 16–21 compete in a structured junior environment while living with local billet families, continuing their education, and becoming part of the Hanna community.

The Alberta Division launched with six founding teams — the Havoc, Southern Alberta Mustangs, Three Hills Titans, Diamond Valley Rockies, Onion Lake Cree Nation Scouts, and Calgary Bandits — playing a full divisional schedule, with USPHL showcases and the National Championships ahead as the division grows.

Our Home
Hanna, Alberta

Hanna is a tight-knit prairie town of about 2,400 people in east-central Alberta, roughly 210 km northeast of Calgary. Built on farming, ranching, and oil & gas, it’s best known beyond Alberta as the hometown of the rock band Nickelback — and around here, for a sporting culture that runs deep.

Hockey Town

The Agri-Sports Complex hosts minor hockey, figure skating, public skating, and curling all winter long — and now the Havoc. On game nights, the whole town shows up.

Small Town, Big Heart

Schools, healthcare, and recreation are all here, and billet families open their homes to our players. It’s a welcoming place for student-athletes to grow.

Home of Nickelback

The band formed here in 1995 — proof that big things come out of Hanna. The Havoc plan to make some noise of our own.
