The Hanna Havoc delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday night, outshooting the Three Hills Titans 52-41 in a decisive 5-1 victory at Trochu Arena.
The Havoc’s offensive prowess was on full display throughout the match, with the team capitalizing on their numerous scoring opportunities. Havoc’s Carter Andrews led the charge with an impressive two-goal performance, contributing significantly to the team’s victory.
On the other side of the ice, the Titans struggled to find their footing. Despite managing 41 shots, the Titans only managed to get one past Havoc’s goalie, Madden Besplug. Besplug had a stellar performance between the pipes, making 40 saves on 41 shots, further solidifying Havoc’s defensive stronghold.
The powerplay situations also favored the Havoc, who converted one of their four opportunities. In contrast, the Titans could not capitalize on any of their three powerplay chances, reflecting Havoc’s disciplined and robust defensive play.
The Titans’ lone goal came from Nicholas Campeau, but it was not enough to challenge the Havoc’s dominance on the ice. The Titans’ goalie, Ryan Roberts, faced a barrage of 52 shots, managing to save 47, but the relentless Havoc offense proved too much to handle.
The Havoc’s next challenge will be an away game against Calgary on Thursday, March 26 at 7:15 pm at the Cardel South Recreation Centre Rink 2. With this momentum, the Havoc will be looking to continue their winning streak and further establish their dominance in the league.
