The Hanna Havoc turned the ice into their playground on Sunday night, crushing the Calgary Bandits with an impressive 8-2 victory at the Hanna Agri-Sports Complex.

The Havoc outshot the Bandits by a significant margin, with 46 shots compared to the Bandits’ 24. This offensive onslaught proved too much for the Bandits’ goalie, Colten Brands, who managed to make 38 saves but could not prevent the Havoc from scoring eight times. On the other end of the ice, Havoc’s netminder Jayden Montanez had a relatively quiet night, facing only 24 shots and saving 22 of them.

The powerplay was another area where the Havoc outperformed the Bandits. Despite having one less opportunity, the Havoc managed to capitalize once on their five powerplays, while the Bandits failed to convert on any of their six chances.

The Havoc’s Austin Galway had an outstanding game, contributing to the team’s victory with a whopping five assists. On the Bandits’ side, James Berrey managed to rack up four assists, but his efforts were not enough to prevent his team’s defeat.

The Havoc’s next game will see them hitting the road to face off against Three Hills on Friday, October 16th at 8:00 pm at the Centennial Place Arena. After their dominant performance against the Bandits, the Havoc will surely be entering this game with high spirits and confidence.
