Havoc Suffers Tough Loss to Bandits in 7-1 Rout

In a game that left the Hanna Havoc reeling, the Calgary Bandits emerged victorious, dominating the ice with a 7-1 win at the Cardel South Recreation Centre Rink 2 on March 26, 2026. Despite the Havoc’s commendable effort and a total of 44 shots on goal, they were unable to match the Bandits’ offensive prowess, which was on full display with 52 shots on goal.

Neither team managed to capitalize on powerplays, with both the Havoc and Bandits going 0 for 0. However, the Bandits’ offensive pressure was relentless, with Thane Swampy-Meguinis leading the charge with a hat trick, scoring three of the seven goals for the Bandits.

In the net, Havoc’s goalie Madden Besplug faced a barrage of shots, making 43 saves on 52 shots. On the other end, the Bandits’ Drareg Galang had a stellar performance, also making 43 saves but on 44 shots, allowing only one goal from Havoc’s Aaron Michel.

This game was a test of resilience for the Hanna Havoc, who will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back in their next matchup. Despite the tough loss, the team’s spirit remains unbroken, and they are determined to learn from this experience and come back stronger.
