Havoc Triumph Over Scouts in Close Encounter

In an intense match-up that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Hanna Havoc secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the OLCN Scouts on Sunday evening at the Hanna Agri-Sports Complex.

Despite being outshot 51 to 36, the Havoc managed to keep their composure and secure the win, demonstrating their resilience and tenacity. The Scouts’ powerplay was 1/8, while the Havoc’s was a slightly more efficient 1/5, a small but crucial difference that may have tipped the scales in favor of the Havoc.

The goalkeeping on both sides was commendable, with the Scouts’ Thesson Mcrorie making 33 saves from 36 shots, and the Havoc’s Kaleb Miller making an impressive 49 saves from 51 shots. This exceptional performance by Miller was undoubtedly a key factor in the Havoc’s victory.

The Havoc’s Wyatt Wright was a standout player in the match, providing 2 assists that contributed significantly to the team’s success. On the Scouts’ side, Charles Mackay managed to find the back of the net once, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Havoc’s determined defense.

The Havoc will look to carry this momentum into their next game, an away match against Bassano on Friday, October 9 at 7:30pm at the Bassano Arena. Fans will be eagerly anticipating another thrilling encounter as the Havoc aim to continue their winning streak.
